Ireland's summer Irish Dance Camp!
Our 4-day Irish dance camps will give your dancer a taste of both group and solo Irish dancing. Camps meet Monday to Thursday for 2 hours each day – in one week, your dancer will receive the equivalent of 8 weeks of classes! Beginners will learn the basics of soft shoe dancing and show off their skills at an end-of-week mini Feis on Thursday. Campers in our Advanced Beginner/Intermediate camp will hone soft and hard shoe skills and work on drills and brush-up for the fall semester.
Camp tuition is $100 per student per camp. All campers must pay the annual registration fee. Please see our registration form and policies for details! You can also register and pay online. Visit our online payment center to pay your camp tuition via credit/debit card or PayPal.
Session I - New Beginners - July 8 to 11, 2013 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
For new beginners ages 7 and up
Session II - New Beginners - August 12 to 15, 2013 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
For new beginners ages 7 and up
Attire for Irish Dance Camps for New Beginners: clothes comfortable for moving (preferably a close-fitting t-shirt and shorts), tights or ankle socks. Shoes are optional; regular jazz shoes, ballet shoes or socks are fine for camp! Of course, ghillies (Irish soft shoes) are always appropriate.
Session III - Advanced Beginners & Intermediates - August 19 to 22, 2013 - 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
For students who have had at least 1 year of Irish dance
instruction, including current students entering the Advanced
Beginner or Intermediate-level classes.
Attire for Irish Dance Camp for Advanced
Beginners/Intermediates: leotard or close-fitting
t-shirt and shorts, tights or poodle socks (girls)/dress socks
(boys), ghillies/reel shoes/jazz shoes, jig shoes.
